    Birthday HR's

For the third year in a row mine has hit a big HR on his birthday. Sr year at South Meck he hit 2 on his birthday
Last year his first college HR (yep--birthday)
This year his 2nd college HR---2 run shot off the scoreboard.

Wonder if he couldn't just visualize everyday being his birthday.

If I were his coach, my team would sing happy birthday to him before every game.

    Alex White

Former D.H.Conley & UNC pitcher Alex White will make his MLB debut tomorrow night for the Cleveland Indians. (6:05PM). He was called up from the Columbus Clippers to take Carlos Carrasco's spot in the rotation.:cheers2:

ok it was our final weekend of the regular season. Surry v.s Wilkes in a three game set with Surry taking all three. my son (keith prowse) finished the regular season going 5 for 8. 4 of the 5 hits were extra base hits. He also had five rbi's and a win on the bump. finished the reg season with a batting avg over .350. Headed to morehead city for the playoffs.

Tell him to save some of that for Summer Ball! Good luck in the playoffs.

hats off to Cody Poarch who threw a no hitter sat. for Walters State. Same day Dillion Poarch of South Caldwell hits a walkoff homerun to beat Draughn.

Wow Chris..you should be very proud. What a terrific season for Nate...and missing a month of action makes it even more remarkable. Obviously you are raising a fine young man on the field and off. I'm glad you posted this and hope you will continue. I look forward to following Nate's accomplishments in the future..on and off the field. Truly an All American!!!!

Cody Poarch has seen his last days of college baseball. I hope when he signs Sandra sends me her special 'nana pudding on that day and not big time me like Kevin B...who never sends me pork chop sammiches anymore.
