    All u guys picking East Lincoln must not have seem Newton or EL in the scrimmage this past Friday. Newton did lose some players but haven't missed a beat. They beat a very athletic Crest bunch that is highly ranked in 3A. EL struggled to beat Burns. On top of that the game is at Newton. You don't think that bunch of fans and players will be fired up? I guess we will see

    i have already been looking ahead to see what is on the slate for next week. there are at least three block-buster match-ups and several other closely matched games. but......we have to get by this week first. i may need a dose of salts when the results come rolling in this Friday night.
