    No thoughts

    or are we waiting on the votes to come in? Forest Hills, St Stephens, Providence and a few others have lost to quality opponents while West Stanly, RS Central, Kings Mtn, MP and others have beaten quality teams....... great start to the '04 season!

    West Stanly, Kings Mtn, West Henderson, Enka, East Rowan, Butler, Mt Pleasant, Polk County,

    Not clicking yet but in the hunt(all factors included)

    Cherryville, Forest Hill, Chase, Providence, Weddington, Alexander Central, South Caldwell, JM Robinson

    ????? about

    AC Reynolds(any info guys??), RS Central(just havent witness this year's squad yet), Myers Park(hitting) North Moore(???)

    Two teams not mentioned here that will be in contention come playoff time unless injuries derail them will be (3A) Mac Conference T.C. Roberson and Franklin. Both have only lost 1 game a piece. Franklin has always been right on the edge ready to bust through and just fallen short. This year with a lot of seniors and a new pitcher they should be hard to beat. Their pitcher for the last two years has finally got the chance to move to her natural position and that is centerfield Her name is Tiffany Allen and she is one of Coach Prescotts recruits at Pfeiffer. She will easily be all conference and all wnc as a centerfielder. One of the other top players is senior catcher Lacey Waldroop (Catawba Recruit) who brings her whole game to the field each and every outing. T.C. Roberson is lead by senior pitcher Courtney Hudson who who keep them in most every game they play. Other good players on these teams but these I know personally.

    great start of a season when you play your biggest competition in the first week or so and Win??

    thats the game i am attending and its a great day for such a great matchup :sunny:

    I am not posting a top 25 because I am not that knoweldgeable about all the teams in WNC. My belief is that injuries are part of the game & just because someone has an injury & the team loses tha should not keep them in the top 25 & also if another team is not playing well but may come together in a few weeks is not another reason to keep them in the poll. That is like saying that if UNC or Duke starting 5 on the basketball team get injured & they start losing they should still be in the Top 25 poll because the next 5 guys just haven't started playing well yet.

    Well at least your are honest about not being knowledgeable. Anyways we want worry about that. I've deleted the poll I posted, and am asking you to delete the quote of that poll.
