    We dropped 2 places to #4 and we've beaten #7, #8, and #21 twice. I quess we will have to prove ourself again on Friday night against North Davidson. Just kidding with you CfBall the new poll looks good.

    #2 vs#9 today at Butler, should be a nail bitter as Meredith O'Connor of Myers Park, one of the all-time leading StrikeOut pitchers vs a Butler team that is really hitting the ball over the last four or five games. It will be a good one for true fans. Not sure who is pitching for Butler but all three pitcher have shown strong performances. Come watch this battle of undefeated teams. This is the kind of game that makes it all worthwhile in sports.

    Starmount

    Starmount is 11-3 and 7-0 in the Northwest 1A. Lost twice to Forbush and lost 1-0 to Russell (KY). The Lady Rams played in a softball tourney in West Virginia this past weekend and went 2-1. Their 2 wins came against #1 3A and #1 2A schools in WV.

    The Rams also defeated East Surry 4-1 last week in 8 innings.

    hopewell is young and has alot of potential (hotbed for softball) but my question is Webster returning next year. Spoke with him last year and their was mention of retirement in the near future?
