TEAM MID ATLANTIC GETS FOUR PLAYERS NOTICED BY USA BASEBALL

    TEAM MID ATLANTIC GETS FOUR PLAYERS NOTICED BY USA BASEBALL
     TWO GET INVITES TO 2011 TRIALS AND TWO GET INVITED TO 2010 16U TRIALS


    Carolinas Baseball Center is proud to announce that two members from Team Mid-Atlantic were selected to take part in the 2011 USA Baseball National Team Trials and two others were invited to take part in the 16U National Team Trials at the end of this week.

    Justin Camp (18U) and KJ Woods (16U) were selected out of the over 600 players from the 2010 NTIS to compete at the 2011 National Team Trials while Cole Billingsley and Logan Koch were selected to take part in the 2010 16U National Team Trials.

    Camp, 17, is a 6'2"/230lbs RHP from Decatur, Alabama. Justin currently attends Austin High School and holds a 3.4 GPA. Justin has already committed to play at Auburn University.

    Woods, 15, is a 6'4"/197lbs OF/1B from Fort Mill, South Carolina. Kevin currently attends Fort Mill High School and holds a 4.29 GPA.

    Billingsley, 16, is a 5'11"/158 lbs OF/LHP from Cropwell, AL. Cole currently attends Pell City High School and holds a 3.8 GPA.

    Koch, 16, is a 5'10/150lb C/3B from Charlotte, NC. Logan currently attends South Mecklenburg High School.

    Both KJ Woods and Justin Camp will report next summer to the USA Baseball National Team Trials. Logan Koch and Cole Billingsley are heading to Texas this weekend to participate in the USA Pan Am Team Trials. The COPABE Pan Am 'AA' 16U Youth Championships will be played Oct. 8-17th inCauliacan, Mexico
    Five players from the 13U Team Mid Atlantic team impressed the USA Baseball Staff and are on the short list for future USA Team Trial Invites: Malique Forman (Atlanta, GA), Shannon Glover (Columbia, SC), Cobie Vance (Fayetteville, NC), Marcus Chan (Charlotte, NC) and Dominic Ford (Raleigh, NC).

    2012 NW Cabarrus, Corey Seager is showing super star skills and representing North Carolina very well in Mexico! I'm sure the D'Bags are missing him in Fort Myers this weekend.

    Great kid and super baseball tools - probably won't stop over at USC --- sorry Coach Tanner --- big boys are calling!
