Team needs help hitting

    One more thing.

    Coach27 talks about teaching kids at an early age the mental approach to hitting.

    Gosh if this is not the truth.

    Ive taught 11-14 y/o just this and they do and can get it. They do learn the complexities of hitting and they thrive on this. Light bulbs go on and they turn into hitting monsters. They love to discuss different count situations in the dugout. The get more into the actual game.

    Ive learned that if you approach a team with teaching them about the mental approach to hitting it carries over to their mental approach to defense. They learn the game within the game. It really is something to see.

    They do get it. So do coach it early.
