    Piedmonts record update

    Piedmont now stands at 15-5 overall, 7-2 conference. Tied with Concord (unless Concord loses tonight to A.L. Brown) for the conference lead and play them Friday night. Should be interesting.

    North State 2-A has West Stokes at 9-1 and McMichael at 8-2 with the two meeting on Friday.

    Southern Guilford was up on McMichael 9-0 in the fifth inning when it was delayed for lightning. If Southern hangs onto the win, McMichael will be at 8-3. With that being said, if West Stokes beats McMichael on Friday night then West will clinch the conference championship.

    Wow is this thing getting tight. Not a great conference but there is some great drama going on for the two playoff spots.
