After losing to Japan 3-1 tonight (coupled with an earlier loss to Canada) its all over for Team USA in the World Cup of Softball. Japan takes the championship. Team USA looks very upset.......maybe next time.

When you've had the success The US has had theres a bullseye on you. I really enjoyed watching Japan play. That pitcher was a bulldog. While I was rooting for the US I was happy for Japan because they seem like a bunch of battlers and I like battlers.

For sure. Japan gave 100% all 7 innings and it paid off. Even though I would have liked to see the US win I thought it was good for my daughter to watch so she could see that you can't win them all. Not to say that losing is okay, but it's going to happen.

All I can say about Japan's pitcher is, incredible!!!!:ylsuper: She was a real deference maker for thier team.

The tournament was awesome and I hope the IOC was watching!!!
