    After many months of soul searching, I have decided to stop coaching softball.
    I remember telling my daughter at an early age and most every player that has played for me that;
    "If softball ever becomes something you do not love to do or it is no longer fun then give it up and do something that brings you happiness". This is where I am at today.
    I have many good memories from the last fifteen years and have made lots of friends who will be missed.

    I hate to hear this!

    I hate that you have come to this conclusion.
    You are truly one of the "Good Guys" coaching today.
    And I for one, appreciate all you have done for the kids over the years.
    I remember a time when I was at the same crossroad and Ray Chandler advised me that I couldn't just walk away. That conversation kept me in it.
    Hopefully you will reconsider. NC softball needs more folks like you in it!

    Just know you will be missed!!!
