    Thanks to all players attending the Lady Blues Showcase this Saturday at Belmont Abbey. We have 44 players signed up, 13 pitchers, nine catchers, lots of talent from a three state area.

    Several D-1 colleges have committed, several D-11's and a well known Juco, and we hope some that have not committed will show.

    Sounds like weather will be good.

    Belmont Abbey admissions will be there to provide tours for anyone interested and to give out information on the school.

    A well known college and WPSL softball great will run the Showcase drills.

    If there are any unsigned or uncommitted 2008, there are a couple D-1's looking for players, might be worth a few hours of your time!

    Lady blues softball camp

    I'm trying to find information on the Lady Blues Softball Camp but I can't find it. Could someone help me out? I'm trying to see if my daughter can still sign up. Thanks

    i know of a couple, coaches from: james madison, college of charleston, and uncc. perhaps abbey fan will tell us the rest...

    Out of town for two days and no time to respond.

    Others coming Wingate, Tusculum, Lenior Rhyne, COC, Chipola, Newberry, Erskine, Pfieffer, and yes Belmont Abbey will be there as well!!!!!!!!!!!

    Over 75 coaches were invited and many just showup. I have only had six say no but working with caoches over the years, who knows what may come up for them to deal with and keep them away. Not making excuses ask all the teams that run showcase tournaments how tough it is to get a definite number.

    Heard it was great.

    Heard the camp was great! Keep up the good work. There is alot of talent out there.
