    If you won a 5 million dollar lottery what would be the first thing you would buy? I would buy me a Maserati coupe.

    A new wallet. This 25 year old nylon one I've been carrying around just wouldn't seem appropriate anymore.:champagne:

    Growing up, I had a dog (miniature yorkie) and always considered myself a dog person and HATED cats. As an adult, my kids wanted a cat, so I conceded. Now I have three and can't imagine ever having a dog. I love my kitties! (so call me a crazy cat lady - it's ok - I've been called worse)

    Grew up a Dog person! Now we have 3 cats, (feeding a stray cat also)
    1 dog, 1 guinea pig, 1 turtle and David & Michael!
    What are we thinking????????

    December 14: NFL Players

    Recently we have seen NFL players smiling and laughing during a blowout game, hugging and high fiving opponents after a game winning field goal and a running back asking Michael Vick for an autograph after a tough loss. Do these guys really care about winning or losing?

    With alot of the players, it's all about the individual, & not the team. The money that's being thrown at these players is ridiculous, and some guys could care less whether they win or lose. They holdout for more money during the preseason, they complain at news conferences, they are out of shape when the season begins, they back-stab their coach at every turn, they publicly question the ownership, etc, etc. etc. Some don't even attempt to earn the money they're being paid, and yea, it doesn't appear that they care whether they win or not. Some players get use to losing and it doesn't seem to bother them.
