    I wish I knew the BA's of players with RISP, but since I don't, I'll go by what I have seen or heard.

    "The Mailman always delivers" at Providence HS. David Mailman that is. The young man has ice water in his veins. Some players are nervous going to the plate in that situation...The Mailman loves it!!!!!

    Addison Johnson, Dusty Ackley, Drew Poulk and Alex White are 4 more that come to mind. As a pitcher, I would hate to face those guys with the game on the line. As a coach, if I could, I would walk them. No way am I going to let them beat me.

    In the northern part of Mecklenburg, the two I wouldn't want to face would be Mike Vaughn and Zack Pou. Vaughn had 37 RBIs and hit near .600 with runners in scoring position. I believe Pou had similar success with not quite as many RBIs.

    Last batter I would want to face?

    The guy that wants to be in that situation. The guy that could careless how he gets it done as long as he does. And he is 0-3 on the night. YOU ARE DOOMED!
