The Old Playoff system (4A Bracket)

    Last Night I decided to create the playoff brackets to see what they would look like under the old format. I went to nchsaa website and wrote the playoff berths and wilcards for each conference in each league. Some of the match I found would be interesting and I found that some teams with good records would not make the playoffs. I made the 4a east after sanford forfeited and took them out/


    Here is a look at the way I figured they would be paired.

    4a East

    16. Athens Drive (8-3) @ 1. Jack Britt (11-0)
    9. Durham Hillside (9-2) @ 8. Pinecrest (9-2)

    13. Southview (7-4) @ 4. Richmond County (10-1)

    16. High Point Central (8-3) @ 1. Butler (10-0)
    9. Sun Valley (8-3) @ 8. AC Reynolds (9-2)

    I went and wrote down the conference champions. Then I Wrote down the 2nd place team for the teams who finished 2nd in the conferences and then I got the wild card teams.

    Wow..

    Amazing.. I like that bracket better.. Alex Cent. got the seed I believe they shoulda got in the first place. That looks like a very good bracket. You got any pull? Maybe you could get a job on the NCHSAA haha.

    ac is 10-1. they definitely shouldve gotten the 4 seed. but its fine. hopefully we can take care of business friday night and go to acreynolds and make up for the past.

    AC will travel up the Mtn.....look at it this way, you'll have a big crowd to support you, but maybe a little less fanfare and the payers can stay more focused on the task at hand.

    true. you know anything about ac reynolds this year ? i know they're always good and they beat wat. by 7 but thats all i know
