Here we go again. Same Day, Same station, but this year a different song. Once again Ragsdale runs into the brick wall of the Dudley Panthers in the third round. Last year Ragsdale took a 13-0 team to Dudley in round three. Dudley was also 13-0. Ragsdale gave them a ball game but didn't capitalize on opportunities (had first and goal in the fourth to cut the lead to three but didn't score) and Dudley won 26-10 and went on to a second straight 3AA title.

Now both teams are 4A but not much has changed. Ragsdale is once again 13-0. Dudley is 12-1 with that lone loss coming to Ragsdale back in week two 18-8. Dudley is not as experienced or as talented as last year but they still are stocked with athletes, bring a load on both lines and will run it right at you for 48 minutes. Ragsdale is a very balanced team, equal run and pass and can get the big plays behind a solid QB and play making receivers. The defense is stocked with 9 seniors, six who are third year starters.

It is going to be one helluva game, but on a very sloppy field. First team with three scores wins.

Here are some stories on the game. Ragsdale's #71 Neil Jones is one of my favorite players. He plays just like the story describes.
