I'm going to agree with you, because I'm going to say that Cherryville will be playing Duplin-Sampson on Sunday (in the Winner's Bracket)

luigiboy, you're a booster, you know Cherryville is going to play Rowan in 2nd round. :taz:

pirate, so we agree Watts won't pitch until 2nd round? If so, we have no bet,,,, because I never said Watts is going to shut Rowan down, I'm no idiot (well not a complete idiot anyway), I know Rowan has been hitting the ball awful good lately. But if you are there, I'm quite sure you are going to be impressed with Watts. Good luck and believe it or not, I am pulling for the locals.

    Mooresville, that is.

    (just kidding)

Rocky Mount is a very tough opening act for Mooresville. I don't know how many RMHS players are with this team, but the names I've seen are very good. Karlrocket or some of you easterners can share more I'm sure,,,, if you will.

C'mon guys, you've heard all about the western teams, give up a little info on the eastern clubs. Its one thing to sandbag, but give the players their props. This is the biggest stage that most of them will ever play on. We're all interested in ALL the teams, some of us only talk about certain teams because thats all we know.

    Rocky Mount

Rocky Mount's an excellent offensive team. Not a weak spot in their order. They backside hit extremely well. They will make you pay for any mistake. Very aggressive running team if they sense a weakness in the pitcher or catcher. Can bust a big inning on you in a heartbeat. Ben Fish is hitting right now better than anybody in the state! Xavier Macklin is very explosive at the plate & dangerous for any pitcher. Leadoff guy TJ Taylor has really come on strong in the playoffs, and is the sparkplug of the team! Collins Cuthrell continues to hit the ball very well after a super high school season. Like I said though, anybody in their lineup can deliver the key hit! Their pitching is under-rated. Dillon Cockrell, Brandon Denton, & Alex Pierce form a great rotation, and when they are locating their pitches, they are as good as anybody. I look for Rocky Mount to beat Mooresville in their opening game!
