The bigger issue to me is the way some coaches allow their teams to carry on during games ... the antics on the bench, the heckling/singing/etc...I think alot of the "non baseball" emotion can be avoided if coaches demand their kids to show some respect for
the game with a little more class on the field. Not naming teams, but their is a very good HS program in Charlotte that I have seen a
few times ... and to watch the way the staff let's ( encourages ? ) them to behave is just a disgrace to the game we all love.

There's more than one team in Char/ Meck that is on our schedule each year that display such antics that it really makes me sick to watch it. These teams are very good. As soon as they get behind....here it comes.... The chanting and heckling from the bench. I don't want to see anybody get hurt, however I'd like to see several of the loudest ones picking themselves up off the dirt trying to avoid the high heat inside. I wouldn't mind a hard foul ball rattle around the dugout near the coach for letting this crap continue either.

Saw Madison Bumgarner hit David Mailman his first time up....

couple years ago in the playoffs. Let's just say it was his only pitch that was that much off target the whole game.
