    When is the next one? I have at least three girls that are wanting to get some pre-college time in together.

    Thursday night summer college softball

    All...

    We will are back with year 2....

    Grand Slam USA will again offer college softball games on Thursday nights..

    Starting next Thursday, 6/07/2012.... we are gonna open the field at the
    Knights of Columbus in Raleigh for open college softball games..

    I have a commitment for NCAA umpires to work these games...

    Here is how it works..
    Anyone currently or signed to play on a college roster or played college softball is eligible to play. Field opens at 530.... games start at 630. One game a night...
    No coaches on field.....

    We are gonna pass the hat for the umps.... $2.00 a player would be appropriate...

    No High School players......

    Game will go to 830 pm...... Could be 5 inning or 12...
    This is a chance for players to get some swings, mound time, defensive work.

    Facility has restrooms, lounge, serves water, soda, hotdogs....
    Plenty of spectator room.....
    We will try it to see what response we get....

    That will be three more weeks, right? Can't wait!!!

    Should be quite a few more there this year.

    How it works

    Thursday nights, starting at 630 pm..
    Field will open at 530 pm for warm ups, etc.

    We will have NCAA umps working the games.
    They will use this as a training facility.

    Cost per play. $3.00 a night..
    All $$ go to the umps...
    We will divide up the teams as fairly as possible, and
    turn them loose.....

    The Knights facility has restrooms, restaurant, lounge and fish pond..
    What more can you ask for....
