Alexander Central Lady Cougar Fastpitch will host a tournament at Central Park in Taylorsville Tuesday April 13
All proceeds will go to the Tiffany Crouse Scholarship Fund awarded to students each year at AC. Those of you that knew Tiffany, knows that she was a diehard fastpitch athlete, giving it her all on the field as well as in the class. Her fellow teammates and students miss her dearly and teammates honor her each game with the displaying of her #8 jersey. We will honor her memory also by providing this tournament to keep money available for her family to continue this scholarship. Please come up and enjoy some fastpitch and lend your support for this cause.

    2:00---AC vs. Ashe County---JV
    3:30---AC vs. Ashe County---Varsity
    5:00---Ashe vs East Rutherford--Varsity
    6:30---AC vs East Rutherford--Varsity

    Hope to see ya!!

nice lineup of games for such a wonderful scholarship fund in honor of an outstanding player/person!

east rutherford people would take offense to the added "ton" to their name though

thanks acfan for the updates and did you figure out the PM feature yet

TBR has a unique family. Can you please post more information for those across the State that don't know Tiffany....and is there an address to send donations for those that may not be able to come?

Will get that address from Tiffany's mom (AC's most faithful scorekeeper--a great boost for the girls) tonight and post it soon.

CF I probably will catch flack for the -ton. Not too good!

Here is the address requested for those willing to help with the scholarship fund:
    Tiffany Crouse Scholarship Fund
    c/o Dennis Crouse
    5818 Sulpher Springs Road
    Hiddenite, N.C. 28636

Tiffany was a gamer. She brought it every time she hit the field. I remember watching her dive for the ball mimicking the likes of Dennis Rodman trying to save a ball. She would tell her friends at 8 or 9 yrs old that she was going to play for Monty Sherrill and be an Alexander Cougar player. Her dream came true as she played her freshman and sophmore as a Cougar. A little over a year ago 3 days before fastpitch season opened for her as a junior Tiffany was killed in a skiing accident. It hit the family, team and school hard. The Crouse family was already a big part of AC fastpitch as they already had 2 girls make it through the ranks as Cougar players and great players at Lenoir-Rhyne. The team remembers Tiffany at each game with the displaying of her #8 jersey. Tiffany will be missed as a friend and as a competitor. I know the players learned alot from her diehard spirit to play the game.

If it continues to rain we're hoping to try and get Ashe to come down Wed. If that don't work it may be a bust and we'll have to try and fit 2 games in later. Sometimes things don't work out but we already have teams wanting in next year. I will let you know as I find out!
