    HERE'S YOUR ANSWER!!

FORGET all those other "remedies" - I have tried all of them!
-this comes from a parent whose kid is ALWAYS the dirtiest one off the field!! HERE IS YOUR ANSWER!
BORAX - the "20 mule team"
    DIRECTIONS:
take your uniform- put in to the washer with your regular detergent,
add borax to the laundry - (about 3/4-1 cup)
let it aggitate -then let it soak for about an hour- then send it on through the wash cycle.( for really tough clay/dirt- put it back to the agitate cycle and let it soak another hour)
You will be amazed at how clean and bright they come out!
FOR "baked" on stains- (you know the ones- on those school uniforms where some other parent didn't care how the uniform looked and just washed and dried the uniform without any special handling)
Take the borax and your regular detergent (WISK works well)
and scrubb the stains with a stiff brush- then do the soaking and washing!

    Another Remedy

Just wear the thing "dingy and stained" and then dive into a base or for a ground ball the very first chance you get.

It will all blend in with "today's dirt"...........Problem solved.

I brought this home the same day as the Fels Naptha. Used both at the same time. Still working on last years stains, but they are a lot lighter.

I do know he was a spokesman, just not sure if he was the first... And NO, I am not old enough to remember or know but learned he was a spokesman on a documentary about his life....
