Normally they aren't announced until all of the schools in a conference have been eliminated from the states.

    NPC All-Conference selections...

I don't want to "take away" from those who made all-conference,,,, but as far as the NPC 3A selections, I "must" question why Jonathan Goodman(NW Cabarrus) and Tyler Lackey(Mooresville) didn't make it. Goodman was NW's starting shortstop and their #2 pitcher, who btw pitched a heckuva game vs. Ragsdale in the playoffs. Lackey just happened to be Mooresville's ace.

I realize you can make arguments for a lot of kids, but Goodman and Lackey just seem to be no-brainers...

Congrats to the ones who made it...

    Wuffie ....

I saw Tyler pitch this season and I have to agree with you. I thought he threw an excellent game when I saw him. He didn't come away with the win in that game but he's a heck of a competitor.

NCBBALLFAN, I agree about Lackey, he just happened to be the #1 pitcher for Mooresville, which finished tied for 3rd in the conference. He could also hit too. There must be other issues that we don't know about.

Btw, Goodman pitched for NW in the 2nd round of the state playoffs against Ragsdale, and only lost 3-2 while striking out 11 or 12. He was simply one of NW's better ballplayers overall on a team that finished 2nd in the conference.
