As an aside... he must have a little tiny peepee for having done it "and nobody saw it"... Kinda makes sense... doesn't deserve to be on a baseball field ever again.

It takes approx 1 minute (unless it's the Whitney Houston or LeAnne Rhimes version) to play the National Anthem... most likely the only minute out of the day that many take the time to show respect and patriotism. And he chose to take a leak on the field during that one minute. Think about it. And read the article and they are playing it off like it was just a little poor decision/dare/prank.

I think 30 minutes with Marine Corps Private First Class Joe Kicksomeass fresh out of Paris Island would be a history lesson that boy would never forget. Followed by yet another history lesson by Gunny Buster Chops after his latest tour...:fire:

    Stop me...please...

The young man need an old fasion ass whipping, with that said, the problem is deeper than what he did. Not wanting to get politcal because that is always a strong topic, here is just something I believe. We as Americans can not support our President or Presidents ( Race, Democrat, Republican or whatever the reason), our Local and State Government, our fellow Neighbors. Although we may not like it, when they win an election that is all we got until the next election and then we have the right and ability to vote them out something many countries can't do. Regardless of Race, Nationality or Religious affiliation we are all Americans. With all the negativity they see ( News, Internet, Radio) our impressionable youth is easliy confused. Until we start to realize that we need to stick together and fight all these problems that we have in this country together, this great country that we live in we never get back to where she belongs which is on top. Then we will start to realize that the National Anthem, and the flag is sacred and should never be disrespected. Like i said i am not trying to be political, just expressing what i believe is some of the problems.

The issue that bothers me is how they are trying to say it was just a stupid mistake. I have never in my life heard of something like this! it was a planned and thought out act! $20. dollars? I hope he spent it well!
He should never be allowed to play HS sports again. And the folks making excuses for his act, should be ashamed!:apeani:

While I agree that adults may confuse kids with their actions, even my 6 yo nephew that loves to pee outdoors knows better.

I could be somewhat understanding - I did not say agree- if it was done in some kind of protest, but a bet? Disgraceful!

I wonder what the reaction would have been if the player was a Muslim.
