As long as you keep reading about him I must be doing something right.

Feel free to post stories/stats/links for any other high school player in North Carolina better than him.

Can't have Mr. Baker slip off the front page.

Baker ran in what was most likely his final home game Friday night getting 249 yards and 2 touchdowns on 25 carries. That was the 20th straight game he has rushed for at least 200 yards,

Baker played defense for the first time two weeks ago and in about 5 plays so far he has a forced fumble and got his first career interception to stop a Trinity scoring chance at the goal line.

For the season he now has 2,577 yards and 32 touchdowns on the season and is sitting at 9,778 yards and 131 touchdowns. Pretty amazing stuff.

He is now the 15th ranked prospect in the country and the third ranked running back. At the start of the year he was ranked 9 on the running back list and 38th overall. Some college is going to be mighty lucky next season.

I'm not saying that either Martray Littlejohn or Travis Padgett are better, but I do like the 2 headed beast that the Chargers can throw at you. Both are 1000 yard rushers. Gotta give those guys some props too. :xyzthumbs

TB is still the best single back in the state.
