Jon is an '07. He swings from the left side and throws righty. He put up good offensive numbers last season for Parkland, a team who struggled a bit at the plate, to say the least. He can play 3B and 1B and will play a huge role for the Mustangs this year. He has put in a lot of hours this fall on the field and there is every indication that this work will pay off in the spring. He has been in contact with some colleges already and the spring and summer will determine a lot for Jon.

Chad Womble-RHP-Rocky Mount-Chad went 9-2 last year as a sophmore, including a shutout against the 4A state champions,DH Conley.Chad could stand to improve his mechanics some, but his curve ball is devastating most of the time, and he throws his fastball with enough control and velocity to make it hard to hit after that curve ball.

Trent Whitehead-OF-Washington-Fast outfielder with a hose. This guy is a fantastic hitter also, showing the ability to hit to all fields.Bats lefthanded...

Garrett Davis-RHP-CB Aycock-Tall guy with a loose arm action.Has been known to bump 90-91 on the gun,and being 6'3,he is very projectable.

All three should have huge years for their respective high schools.

Does anyone know anything on Derek Boliek or Patrick Johnson's college plans? They are both stellar ball players and I was trying to get some information on college plans and schools of interest.
