Top 100 High School Players with College Commitments

I guess we will really see, come draft day, who the pros think is #1. I wouldn't bet against Cameron (a young Vladimir Guerrero with more speed)

His upside is far more attractive.

 

Baseball America recently updated and expanded their list of top '05 prospects, which now includes 800 players. The following 12 NC players were added to the above list, giving us 27 in all:

Jeremy Synan (SS, Northeast Guilford) - NC State
Brian Farrell (LHP, Ridgewood) - North Carolina
Wil Boyd (OF, Hickory) - Clemson
Wes Williams (OF, TC Roberson) - Virginia
Drew Martin (3B, Ashbrook) - NC State
Matt Cox (LHP, West Brunswick) - North Carolina
Mike Cavasini (OF, North Meck) - North Carolina
Jay Moreland (C, Goodpasture) - Vanderbilt
Tim Federowitz (OF/RHP, Apex) - North Carolina
Jason Rook (OF, Western Guilford) - App. St.
Frankie Lewis (SS, Fuquay-Varina) - App. St.
Ryan Laboy (OF, Central Cabarrus) - High Point

Also, according to the list, Garrett Bullock, listed as undecided last November, has now committed to Wake Forest.

Jay Moreland is from Tennessee ... Goodpasture is a Private Christian HS just outside of Nashville. OBTW: He's a catcher.

They just had the state wrong.
