    Cody Ellis INF - Person

Cody is a very solid player. Excellent glove and range at 3B. LH hitter that has gotten stronger and has started turning on the ball well. Has developed into a hitter that can hit the ball hard to all fields. Cody is a heckuva player and I expect him to be a solid pickup after the 2010 season. He is also a good student and is a pleasure to coach.

I heard he is on tour with Erin Andrews, so it may be awhile before he checks in.

I know of a '25 that ya'll may want to look out for... Daddy played college ball after helping Apex win their State Title a few years back. He was 6'3" and about 270 in his playin' days. Momma was a volleyball player in college and is about 6' tall. Reportedly, the kid's Grandpa has tied his right hand down since birth... he's growin' a lefty pitcher! They say when he throws a tantrum it has a little arm side run to it...

East Rowan has Noah Holmes, Preston Troutman, and Parker Gobbel in the class of 2010..but they also have Thomas Allen, who used to play in Forsyth County about 4 years ago, before moving to Northeastern NC for a couple of years. He moved back to Rowan County in 2007 and has been playing with East Rowan and Rowan Junior Legion in the summer. Thomas pitched his perfect game at SW Little League at 12 against East Rowan LL in 2004..now he plays with these guys. He throws hard and has a nasty curve ball.. East will have a strong team again next year with this class and the JVs who will move up.
