    Cody Ellis - Person High

Cody Ellis 3B, LH Hitter, Developing into a very solid hitter. Excellent Defense at the HOT CORNER, and has a sweet swing from teh left side. Cody will develop into a fine player. At 6'1, he will developwith good size!! This kid can play!!

No doubt those GBC teams were good. Great bunch of kids. I give Tony credit, he was as prepared as I've ever seen a youth coach and he could coach a game. He put a ton of time into it. Treated it like a job.

AS to 2010 kids, at Ragsdale High School alone you have,

    DeSean Anderson
    Bennett Hixson
    Ben Fultz
    Billy Stone
    Mike Whited
    Walt Sparks

I'll throw in a couple of 2010's from the defending Cape Fear Valley Conference champs, Southern Lee High School in Sanford, NC:

    Josh Phillips (P, OF)
    Nick Mauldin (P, C, 2B)
    Andrew McNeil (P, 3B)
    Derek Gaster (P, 1B)
    Tyler Appling (P, OF)

I don't ever see much on this board about schools from the Cape Fear Valley Conference. I'll try to keep things updated about players from the conference this coming season.
