I've seen Central Cabarrus play and I know they will be at the top of their heap, only know some of the others are rebuilding. AC and ACR will be battling it out for NW4A and I hope St. Stephens heads back to Raleigh. Looking forward to seeing and hearing about the rest in a few short weeks.

Don't count out South Caldwell this yearin nw4a. I talked to one of the coaches this week and even though they lost several good players last year they still have a couple key players and he was very excited about some of the young girls. They won't be near as strong as last year but will still compete for the conference title. He also said Reynolds and Alexander will be their toughest competition

CFBall, you think St Stephens would be that low. I would have figured top 5. I'll throw out Ashe County. They lost several position players, but still have Kayla Richardson, one of the best pitchers in the NW area. Teamwise not very strong, but she'll carry them with the bat as well as the pitching.

ram12bb, SSHS and West Rowan are both my top 3A squads. Kayla pitches wonderfully and hope they can fill the voids left from last years team. No one pitcher can carry you deep in the playoffs without a supporting cast as we know.......SSHS should return to Raleigh, provided they all improve on hitting against good pitching when it counts! Good luck to Ashe County and Kayla!

Last year, with only one senior, Northwest Cabarrus defeated West Rowan, Butler and J.M. Robinson. Look for them to be improved.

    West Rowan
    St. Stephens

i have always felt good about West Stanly but w/o the dominant pitcher to lead when your bats fail you........honorable mention unless ladycolt can update us with all new prospect there working hard to fill those shoes left by Keri Blackwelder???

you on the mark with the others and again welcome aboard and hope you enjoy your time on TBR Softball!
