    Ashbrook has three:

Drew Martin, SS - smooth, plays 3b/ss for On Deck O's

Michael Bogart, RHP/1B - may become #2 starter, 87-89 juggs

Josh Duncan, RHP/2B - MVP 3A state championship games

Martin started as a vasity freshman and all three started as sophs. They will be the ones who push the seniors so that there is no let down from last year's success.

I like DJ Mitchell @ North Forsyth and David Sappelt @ Southern Alamance. Both could be a potential draft picks.

This is Sugarjet's son again and from what I have seen this year from the people that I have played with this summer is watch out for the following:

Drew Martin- sweet with the glove, strong with the bat, and he is really working on his range. You can just throw him on the field and he is ready to go. He plays with his head up and is ready for anything especially since he played next to shelton all summer and fall. You have to be smart to know what he might do.
Mike Cavi- Don't know how to spell his last name but man how do you defend this guy. He will bunt on you and if you move in to protect that he will slap it right by you. Other times he will just throw his hands out and chop it to the left side and with his speed beats out everything. He made shortstops in Jupiter look bad because he runs so fast. He can cover ground in the outfield to. His arm needs a little bit more zip to it but his only a junior.
Tom Portor- When he got to us he was a little banged up. When he got better he said he didn't think he would hit 80 in his first outting, yea, he was throwing about 85 in his first outting. The kid knows how to pitch and can field his position very well. Watch out for that curve ball and change as well.
TJ Worrell- Well he can throw hard, likes to grunt, which sets up the rest of his pitches. He is throwing in the mid 80s and can run it up there near 90 but his change and curve ball have helped him a lot this year. He can field his position good too. Don't forget he also plays outfield and will probably play there this year for South when not pitching.
Jon Ratledge- Has played on older teams most of his life and is built like it too. The kid can hit and he can do it like his played the game for 20 years. Every time I looked up this fall when he played with us he was on base or just drove some one in. He can play the outfield really well with a plus arm. He will pitch some this year as well.
Greg Miclat- This kid is a beast. He switch hits and can bunt. He can run real well too. Defense wise in our scrimmage games we couldn't get anything by the kid. He has a real good arm and can cover some ground.

These are just some of the kids from the On Deck crew that will be some of the best juniors in the state this year.

    I forgot these to:

Thomas Hovis: The kid has a decent fastball but wow what a change up. He got me on it several times in practice. His curveball is good to. When we played them the pitchers couldn't throw curveballs and he made a few of us look stupid. The man has a future if he keeps working at it.
Brendan Vanpopering- The kid threw great for us. I can't remember how good his pitches were but he got everyone out when he threw for us.
