With the new coach at CC I would say the top players in the meca 8 will be weraing the green and gold of CC. The top of them all will be Gina Allen look for her to be All State. Yes I said it first!

You really went out on a limb there lol. But i think everyone at Central expects big things from the team as well as Gina. They will except nothing less than a state championship.

i am sure they could land a bunch on all conference and possibly 3 or 4 on All State if things work out! Note: Gina Allen and Morgan Mayer were the only two Freshman to be named All-State Last Year. I think those two stated it by their play on the field...first. Repeating for each is the task at hand and knowing each, i am sure both are working hard as we speak. Good luck to CCHS, Gina and Coach Sherrill in 2004!

    Mecca

Jessica Inman at N. Meck, Caitlin Duncan, Independence, are two more names that could be major factors in the conference. Butler will have a few impact players, Ashton Ward, Victoria Willis, Mandy Ward among others. Sun Valley has a speed merchant in Brittany York, Forest Hills has Ashley Stewart a Longwood signee and most of its team back from last year. Cassie Palmer at Weddington, a UNC signee will be a major factor. There are so many great player in and around Charlotte, it is impossible to name them all. I have mentioned Girls from Robinson, West Stanley, Piedmont in the past. Should be a great HS softball season.
