    Matt Comer-St. David's

Somebody would be getting a great ballplayer in Matt Comer from St. David's. 6' 3" LHP/1B, low to mid 80's, great frame, smart player.

Why no team has signed Jon Taylor is puzzling? This kid is a division I player period. He has documented pop times on impact 1.91-1.95. This kid has power and base hitter. He is a wall behind the plate, one of the states best catcher's. He will be very instrument in the success of C.B. Aycock. Jonathan is very versitile and can play 3rd, 1st, 2nd, and catch all well.

Two quality players on and off the field. Both love the game and easy to coach. These two should be playing Div. I somewhere. Some team is going to get a steal with these two.

Obviously, there are some great players remaining. Keep up the thread; it helps many.

    Uncommitted 2011 Grads

I know a few kids in the Yak organization. Most of the guys were new to the showcase ball this last summer and fall.

Tucker Coward- Eastern Randolph HS- Catcher, 1st baseman. Batted .400 this fall with 2 hr's and batted .500 over the summer with 4 hr's. He had an on base % of .571 for the fall. Great bat overall, can hit for average and power. As a catcher, he has a pop time around 2.0
Tyler Lequire- East Davidson HS- P, INF, OF. Tyler is a great player as well. Tyler batted .350 all year. Tyler is a rare gem, he can throw of the mound left handed and right handed. He is mainly a right handed pitcher. Throws 84-85 from right side and 79-80 from the left. Didn't get many at bats this fall due to football, but had a great summer season.
Landon Allen- Eastern Randolph HS- OF, LHP, 1B. Landon is a great outfielder. Good speed in the outfield, great arm. Can play 1st. Great pitcher, throws around 82-83.
Davin Lawson- East Davidson HS- Catcher, P, 3B. Davin is a pretty good catcher. Pop time of 2.06 at Impact Showcase last weekend. Hit for power. Good pitcher, but needs some work. Throws 82-83 consistantly and tops out at 85. Great glove at 3rd with a good arm. Davin batted .353 on the fall with an on base % of .500.
JT Virant- Middle Creek HS- OF. JT is a great CF that can read the ball well off the bat. Has a strong arm, and a great glove. Can hit for power and average.
Dylan Brown- Rockingham County HS- C, 1st, 3rd. Great catcher. Pop time consistantly 2.05 but has hit 1.96. Hit .275 this fall. But his school stats from last season was, batting average of .437 with 7 hr's, 15 dbl's, 2 triples.

Those are the uncommitted 2011 kids we have.
