Ethan Moyer- watauga high school: Versatile player, good contact hitter with wheels. RHP and hitter

Seth Phillips- Avery high school: this guy lives for the game. Good RHP who can hit upper 80's while throwing consitent strikes. goes to a real small school which may be helping him get over looked.

Tyler Barnes (Scotland High-OF/P) - 6'1" 170 lbs....Very good student, good speed 7.0 to 7.2 60, Runs down balls in the outfield. outstanding batter - He finds a way to put the bat on the ball, he batted over .400 for Scotland last year and made All conference. As a pitcher, has an awkward delivery but get's the job done....low to mid 80's. This player is a winner! DI at OF and DII as P.

Blake Murray (Scotland High - SS) - 5'11", 165lbs.....good student, fast runner, will probably be a 2B in college....very smooth infielder; probably one of the smoothest infielder that I have seen this year. Very strong arm. Only weakness that I see is his bat....he has power but struggles from time to time. Could be a DI if bat improved but right now probably DII.

Lloyd Enzor (Whiteville High - C/1B/3B/P) - 6'1" 195 lbs....real good student, what's most impressive is his bat.....very good power, hopefully he will put 10-15 over the wall this year. As a pitcher, he was running it up to 86 mph during pre-season last year. Was the catcher the entire year so he didn't pitch any. He should contribute a lot this year, he will probably play 3B or 1B then one of the top three pitchers. Hopefully, he will run it up to 88-90 FB. This is a sleeping GIANT!

SAMMY LUCAS- (west forsyth) i will second sports mom's nomination on this kid as well. scrappy middle infielder that can also play third and outfield. great approach at the plate as well. great defense, great kid, great work ethic

BEN REDMOND- north davidson will have to go along with this one as well. very impressive at and behind the plate.

    Orange HS

Larry McDonald- 1B - 6'1", 270, unlimited power potential from the leftside, moves well for his size, plays both ways in football

Tommy Wright- UT- can play OF/INF also RHP, 5'11, 175, good athlete, 7.0-7.1 runner, very good arm, swings from the rightside w/ some power potential.

Ryan Walker- LHP - 6'3", 170, lanky with good arm action, fastball is anywhere from 82-87. Off-speed is solid.

Xavier Macklin (Nash Central)- An outfielder with all the tools. Has plenty of speed to cover the field and an arm to make any throw. Can hit for average and power. He can help you win a game with either his offense, defense, or both.

Nick Short (Halifax Academy)- He can play very well at both corner infield spots. He has a smooth glove and above average arm. His biggest asset is the pop in his bat. He is a deep ball threat every at bat.

Jacob Dixon (Roanoke Rapids)- He can be a RHP or play the infield. Has a strong arm. Above average fastball with good movement and a nice breaking ball. Smooth fielder with a strong arm. Can hit for average and add some gap to gap power. Great attitude and work ethic. One of the most coachable young men I have ever been around.

I also want to give a second mention of both Jim Leggett and Ryan Waldrep. Coach27 is right on about both of these guys. These two can flat out pitch.

Bankhead's players are always solid. He flies under the radar in the showcase arena but does an excellent job. He doesn't go recruiting every year. He works with what he has. If your kid wants to better himself there are not many better. Parents get caught up in wins and losses but Bankhead's focus is on development.

Mom- some of the most astute comments on TBR are made by Mom's. I can assure you your comments are taken seriously. Everybody enjoys having you participate on the board. From my active participation on the softball forum, I have learned quickly that there are many Mom's that bring a different perspective than their fellow Father's and in most cases their perspectives are right on target.

Thank you for participating and I hope you will continue

    2 Best Unsigned Seniors

These 2 Players Can Help any College Program:

Craig Farmer SS/P Northern Durham High School

Craig is a great player has started since a freshman, Pac 6 All Conference Player for coach Pete Shankle. Arm strength is amazing, you just can't get the kid out! Early in count will crush the ball, one of the best 2 strike hitters I've seen at the High School Level.

Lee Murray OF Jordan High School

Lee is a gifted player and has started since a freshman, Pac 6 All Conference Player for coach Devy Bell. Speed is outstanding, tracks balls well in OF. Lee has pop in his bat, if you don't play it clean in the IF forget it! One of the best athlete's I've seen at the High School Level.
