We had a post on here so most of us have read the story or heard about the softball player who hit a HR and tore her ACL rounding first. Two players from the other team carried her around the bases and the video with ESPN story is worth 6 min of your time to watch.

As we head into playoff season where everything seems so important maybe it'll keep sportsmanship in perspective for all of us

    http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/video/videopage?videoId=3380875&categoryId=2378529&n8pe6c=2

If you're a player or a coach do you wonder what you would have done?

That's just awesome. Good sportsmanship at it's HIGHEST level. What those girls did was nothing short of heroic, classy, and good hearted. They didn't have to do it, but knew it was right. The world needs more of that!

    Completely agree, that was awesome.

Great to see people do things like that.

LOL, i've got my fingers in my ears, going....La La La lalalalalal......ha. Don't want to think about the answer to that one. I do believe there are some out there that would have done the same thing, however it's probably outweighed by others that wouldn't.

In case you didn't know, Sportscenter did a full story on this. It was towards the end but was more than just a blurb. They even had a home video that showed the girls carrying her to third and home and lowering her to touch the base with her left foot. Very cool!

Men are warriors and women aren't.

Females play to win but, society allows them to play with all of their feelings and emotions. Males aren't allowed - for them it's beat 'em down and hold 'em down.

I don't know about women not being warriors? I agree that men beat 'em down and hold 'em down.
