Tournament Opportunity

    We have an opening for one team to participate in a showcase tournament to be held at Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC on June 7-8.

    Before going out to another state for a travel team I thought we would offer this spot to a NC Legion program. If you are a parent and your team may be interested please forward this information to a coach.

    Play will be round robin play Saturday and Sunday with the top 2 teams playing a championship game. Games will be 9 innings.

    Cost will be a shared split of umpires and incidentals; teams will supply their own balls. This will be 19U so would consider senior legion teams only.

    SCPBUC, thanks for the invite, unfortunately our specific team has regular season games June 6 and 7, so we probably wouldn't be able to take you up on that tourney,,, but hopefully another legion team will.

    Quick question, you said its an 18U tourney, you DO realize legion teams (not necessarily all do) but they could possibly have a few 19 year olds on the roster,,, would that be a problem for their simply participating just to get in a few games? And again thanks.

    Not a problem for senior legion program with 19U.

    Just responding so that you don't think we are not open to the idea; however, graduation and already scheduled game dates will conflict with alot of teams. Thanks for the invite!

    Exactly the same problem, it is HS Graduation weekend for WSFC schools, but with an advance notice we certainly would be interested.
