The Observer Gaston County Tourney

While the pairings have not yet been announced/published, the work that Ashbrook has done on their field (site of this year's tournament) may make this one of the best venue's for observing baseball in the state.

The field condition is pristine, well-crowned and drains very well. The new concession stand and enlarged seating area should make this an area favorite. Finally, the food that they serve there ranks favorably with the red chili crusted Sea Scallops served at the Bagdome. They should have the smokers going full blast for this tourney.

A definite FIELD TRIP is required to visit this facility this spring. It's condition is moving up into the realm of the Bagdome and South Meck, making it one of the finer venue's in the west.

I thought I would post the Scouting report on Myers Park in order to help the other Meca8 teams. Listen up Vance, Central, Hopewell.......
