Not so with our principal. Back in early August we had 2 good football players transfer in. Both would be legit but not yet. Both had parents that were marrying again and had not physically moved in to the new address in our district. She held them out of the 1st 2 games until they were physically there. Even though they had the address in their name and the required 2 bills in their name. She's a straight-up, tough cookie. You don't have to call Chapel Hill if you have a good principal and AD. It doesn't need to be a big deal.

I think my question was answered. I was jut wondering what kind of things have happened when players continue to tranfer away from the same school.I have not heard of a principle going to a players home but I think it should be a standard.Sounds like a good idea.

Gave them the chance. If they had not moved in they are in violation. Period. Remember this is about going by the rules. They did not give the kid a second chance do south. Point is If you transfer do it, If you break the rules pay the price not a discount. You do have a great principal and AD. They did their job. The 2 games was a discount. If it would have been the season would they still be there? Nothing more.

Geez Plate. Both kids and their fathers planned on moving. They just were not in their new home yet. They went by the guidelines. How do you figure it was a discount missing 2 games? Most principal's would have looked the other way in the first place. I think you're being a little harsh. JMO. Sorry I brought it up.

Unless there is hard proof of recruiting, there's nothing you can do. And the accuser has to prove the allegations, more than he said, she said....

What gives a parent the right to bend the rules for his kid? Does he think they are better than other kids on the team so they just tell a white lie or manipulate a document here or there that somehow they have convinced themselves and their kid that they are entitled to it? You take positions away from other players dang right it should be reported. If a task force has to go visit players to validate their residence then go for it. If a coach, AD, or principal is accociated with a school that plays ineligible players then good riddance. Im tired of this subject but the way things are looking at CMS, its only just begun.
