With all of the travel talk going around, it made me wonder about something. When flying, what do you do with your equipment? Do you check your bat bag with everything in it? Do you carry some on with you? Ever had anything stolen?

Hey, if you've never done it - you don't know. Thanks.:bigsquare

We checked the bat bag and never had anything stolen.

These days, you can't carry the bat bag on; as the bat would be prohibited in the cabin out of security considerations.

    That is fantastic advice.....why didn't I think of that!:229031_ha

I'll just tell the Naval Academy that we can't come to their camp. We'd rather stay home.

Thanks, Prepster. I figured the bat would have to be checked. I think we'll carry on the glove at least.:ylsuper:

You also need to make sure the bat bag is clean. Fertilizer could be a problem-at least that is what we were told by one airline

    Travel woes

Please careful with pine tar in the bat bag. We werer told by one airline that it is a combustable item and was removed. Travel safe!!:bananalam
