    Lady Thunder 16u

Well this weekend the Lady Thunder along with 3 16u teams played in a round robin scrimmage tournament, and the results from the Thunder games are as follows:

    Lady Thunder: 0
    Hurricanes: 1
The Lady Thunder did a good job on defense but gave up a run on a walk that ended in a mental error. The bats didn't come around for us until the last 2 innings and we left runners on the bases each inning.

    Lady Thunder: 3
Lookouts: not sure but they beat us pretty bad
This was another upset to the Lady Thunder. The team lost its edge and the Lookouts took advantage and rallied off of it. The first inning or two were the worst and after that things came together and we held them off but couldn't gain the lead.

    Lady Thunder: 3
    Rockets: 0
I'm not 100% sure about the final score but I believe that's right. The Lady Thunder wanted revenge on this team. Back in October the two teams were head to head at one each until the 6th inning, time ran out and we had to go into the international tie breaker, the Rockets pulled through in the end and got the winning run. So this win for the Lady Thunder was to gain back their pride for their first two losses of the new year and to seek the revenge of the Rockets. Both teams did great and the Rockets showed that they had high quality pitching, but in the end the Thunder prevailed.
