    just the games i witnessed the final score. weather was great till that final dumping Cindy had in her around 4pm putting a halt to Thursday's play!! four games ahead for most teams tommorrow, with the last game of the day being the start of the DE NSA State tournament. Good Luck to all teams!

    Thanks MP2 for posting the results. Congratulations to the Carolina Curve. I sure hope that the player that got injured in the showcase is doing ok. Take care and tell your DD that I sure did enjoy watching her play in both events. Mark and the coaching staff and players did a fantastic job and will represent North Carolina well as NSA 18u State Champions.

    USSSA 14U State Champions ​
    NC Lady Lightning ​

    After shutting out the Lady Blues Sat morning and losing to the Carolina Copperheads on Sat. night. The Lightning rebounded with 5 straight wins on Sunday, defeating the Lady Blues, Dominators Gold, Smackers, and the Carolina Copperheads 2 times. Only giving up 4 runs in 5 games with 3 shutouts. Brittany Marsh and NIkki Edwards pitched awesome and the defense stepped up when it counted the most. And Congrats to Nikki Edwards on hitting her 1st over the fence HR.

    This is a great victory after having to overcome several injuries and adversities in the last few of weeks. I enjoyed watching their intensity all weekend. This is a strong team and one that is fun to watch.

    Also Great job by the Copperheads ( 2nd Place) and Smackers ( 3rd Place).

    Anyone have results from the AAU Nationals this past weekend?
