Trevor Hovis Commits to Francis Marion

2010 TREVOR HOVIS - South Mecklenburg High School/South Charlotte Panthers has committed to attend school and play baseball at Francis Marion University in Florence, SC. following his senior year at South Meck.

Congratulations to Trevor and his family.

 

Yeah!!!!!!! The people of Charlotte can relax now. Big George is happy, so we can be happy.

Seriously, Trevor, because of injuries, is one of the most underrated players in the Charlotte area. The kid is country strong, tough as nails and a bat to match....pretty good LHP, too.

Trevor is one of the few kids that's built like a tank, but could never challenge his dad. Big George could crush him.

Congratulations to a fine young man and a great family. He has proved that overcoming obstacles is nothing but a word.

BTW, for those that don't know Trevor, take my word that this kid is mentally and physically tough, but he has nothing on his older brother, Blake. Blake is a professional on the motorcycle circuit---where breaking bones is just part of the deal. Wrap them up and go on to the next venue. Trevor plays baseball the same way.
