    Va Beach Showcase vs Newtown Rocks Gold

    I have to tell this story! We were on an open field with 300 foot fence and a 25mph (guess) wind blowing from left field to right field. Tristan hit a ball to dead center that was in the air at least 270 and went all the way to fence. It was the hardest hit ball I have seen in fastpitch softball. Coaches from both teams agreed without wind, it hits the 300 foot fence. Just had to let softball fans know about this kid's unreal smack.

    Jessie Rappe hit an inside the park HR to tie the game as time ran out.

    OMG! We all needed a boost after Saturday's weather stuff. What a wonderful way to wrap it up! Way to go Tristan and Jess !
