Lake Norman Fury 14u Tryouts

The Lake Norman Fury 14u team will hold open tryouts on the following dates:

Saturday, July 30th - 10:00 AM

Wednesday, August 3rd - 6:30 PM

Lincoln Charter School / 7834 Galway Lane / Denver, NC 28037

We are seeking dedicated '97 players and families (will consider '98 players as well) with solid core values, that are looking to join an established, competitive team with experienced players and coaches returning.

Please contact us if you are interested in attending one of our tryouts so that we can prepare accordingly. We will offer private tryouts as well if preferred.

We are based in Denver, NC and practice year around in a private indoor/outdoor facility. The Fury mission is to assist our young ladies in becoming better players on the field and better citizens in the community.

Lake Norman Fury 12u - Final Tryouts

The NEW Lake Norman Fury 12u team had a great turnout for our initial round of tryouts. We will be conducting our final round of tryouts on the following date:

Sunday, August 7th - 4:00 PM

This is primarily a '99 team, but we will consider experienced '00 birth dates as well. We are seeking dedicated players and families with solid core values. NC Challengers 16U --> 18U

The NC Challengers 16U team is progressing to 18U. We will have tryouts for 3 open positions on Sunday, August 1st, starting at 2:00pm at Leesville Road High School, 8409 Leesville Road, Raleigh, NC 27613. We will be seeking top players to join our roster who can compete at a national level. Specific areas of defensive need are pitching, catching, and utility players. On offense, a slapper is also needed.

The North Carolina Challengers, whose inaugural season was 1994, have had a long-standing reputation as being an organization that strives to prepare young women to excel both on and off the softball field. The NC Challengers have a goal of teaching not only the fundamentals of fastpitch softball but also the qualities of leadership, sportsmanship, academia, and teamwork while building strong character. NC Challengers softball boasts successful teams ranging in age from 10U to 18U and anticipates continual organizational growth to facilitate its goal to prepare hopeful young women in achieving their dreams of playing softball at the collegiate level.

Carolina Crush 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U tryouts....

The Carolina Crush will be having tryouts for the 12U on Aug 20th from 10am to 12pm. The 14U tryouts will be Aug 20th from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. The 16U tryouts will be Aug 21st from 2pm to 4pm. The 18u tryouts will be Aug 21st from 4pm to 6pm. All tryouts will be held at the J L Mann High School Softball field located in Greenville, SC. Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to your tryout time so you are able to complete your paperwork ahead of time. Palmetto Sting 10-U Tryout 7/23 10AM

The 10-U (2001) Palmetto Sting will be holding an open try-out Saturday 10 AM 7/23/11 at Oakridge Middle School in Lake Wylie,SC. This try-out is for our 2011 Fall and 2012 Spring/Summer team. We are an all 2001 team and will be playing as a 10U "A" team in 2012. If you are looking for a competitive team and you want your daughter to learn the game the right way...This is your team!!! Great Opportunity for Older 14u players

THE MSA COBRAS will have an open tryout at Butler High School on Thursday 07-28-2011 and on Tuesday 08-02-2011 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. We are hoping to add players ready to compete. We will play 14U in the fall with the intent of moving to 16U in the Summer of 2012.
Rising freshmen or rising 8th graders would be perfect.
The team has 9 dedicated girls and we are looking to add two maybe three more. All positions considered.
