Cape Fear Storm Purple will be holding tryouts for its 16U Showcase team on Sunday Aug. 14th from 2-5 at Cape Fear Christian Academy (Hwy 421 Erwin). All positions will be considered. If you are a rising freshman or sophomore and will be playing on your high school team then come try out. NC Strike Force Tryouts

The NC Strike force Showcase Team is currently looking at players for our fall 2011/summer 2012 team. We will not hold a formal tryout, but invite all interested families to join a practice with our current team. We feel that this is the best way for you to evaluate our team and coaches to ensure we are a fit for your family. Our team plays a disciplined brand of defense where communication is paramount and an aggressive brand of offense that requires a good bat and exceptional speed and decision making. Our coaches are very knowledgeable, passionate, and committed. We strive to teach the game to our players in a manner that enables them to control their game and make their own decisions. The players we are looking for should be a standout at either Outfield, Middle Infield, and/or Third Base. We would also be interested in an exceptional pitcher who can play other position(s) as well. The players we add to our roster will get plenty of playing time. We do not believe in starters and bench players. Our players are versatile at multiple positions and share time to ensure everyone gets plenty of opportunity on the field. We will play a fall schedule of 5 tournaments as well as some college scrimmages. Team TFS 16U & 18u is looking for high-level athletes to join our organization that can contribute to the team and improve their skills. Team TFS is an elite level softball organization with age groups including 10u, 12u, 16U, & 18U. Our teams include young ladies from the triangle area and throughout the entire state of North Carolina. The 16u & 18u ladies practice in the RTP area of North Carolina.

Spirits Fastpitch Black 18U (Showcase) Update

Tryouts will be held at East Wake Middle School (2700 Old Milburnie Road Raleigh, NC 27604) on Saturday August 6th at 9:00am - 12:00pm.
Spirits Fastpitch Black 18U is committed to producing one of the finest fastpitch softball teams in the North Carolina area while emphasizing sound fundamental skills and maintaining high educational standards. Our team seeks to play against the top teams in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions in the most competitive ASA tournaments and Showcases throughout the year. This summer the team competed in several Showcase tournaments including the TCS Sparker (Colorado), TCS Rising Stars (Myrtle Beach) and Cardinals Showcases in Rock Hill, SC and Raleigh, NC. We placed 2nd in the NC ASA Class A 16U tournament in June.
We’re in immediate need for a starting pitcher to add to our pitching staff.
Also looking for Athletes who:
* are experienced travel players
* have a big bat
* are dedicated and willing to work hard to achieve team goals
* are coachable
All positions are earned!!!
As a Player you’re expected to work hard, attend recruiting meetings and complete homework (self skill practices). Our organization also has an indoor workout facility for winter workouts to prepare our teams for the new season. Team TFS is an elite level softball organization with 2-10u teams, 16u, & 18u. NC Challengers – Adam’s 16U will be holding tryouts Aug. 7th at 1:00pm at Marsh Creek Park. Address is 3050 New Hope Rd., Raleigh, NC 27604. All positions will be looked at. We are seeking solid rising freshman and sophomores who possess a strong work ethic, good attitude, and the drive and desire to compete at A level softball. We will be playing showcase tournaments and A level 16-18U tournaments in and around North Carolina. The 12U NC Challengers (AB99) will be holding tryouts for the fall season on Wednesday, August 10 at 6PM at Ruritan Field located at 9816 Fanny Brown Road; Raleigh, NC. We are seeking solid players with '99 or '00 birthdates who possess a strong work ethic, good attitude, and the drive and desire to compete at ‘A’ level softball. Offensively, we are looking for 1-2 slappers and power hitters.
