It's raining over in my area between Mt. Holly and Huntersville, think these games are going to be played tonight?

Looking at the Radar, we are on the tail-end of the rain .... most of it has already passed the Charlotte area .... Hickory up through Greensboro looks very Iffy ..... Coast looks good, but Fayetteville (Two Rivers and Midsoutheastern) look like it's going to hit in about an hour.

Hopefully that rain stays out of Charlotte so one of the best weeks in the MECA-8 and SW4A can go on, because from what I've seen it's supposed to rain tonight, tomorrow, and into Thursday.

And mama nature wins again ...

Rainout East of Charlotte North vs Central ... maybe SM/Providence is below the rain and can play tonight.

    Providence vs. South

the game was tied 1-1 in the 4th when a 3rd rain delay came, both pitchers: besselivre and layman were pitching well, keith mauney had a rbi single in the 3rd to tie it up.

3 delays is to much for me so i had to leave

S Meck-Providence ended in a 1-1 rain delay (at Providence). Morris drove in South's run, Mauney Providence's. It sits now in the top of the 4th, runners on the corners, 1 out, Cyril Daniel at the plate. To be resumed Thursday per Bagwell.

Rose shut out Rocky Mt 9-0. Garrett Bullock pitched a no-hitter for the Rampants.

    Lumberton over Terry Sanford 9-3

A good all around game for Lumberton. Twelve hits off a good pitcher and Read did his usual number on the mound giving up four hits with 15 Ks.
