Hey DB--if we can hook up tomorrow, I'll ride up with you. Last time I went to North I got lost and ended up in Concord

That's hard to do ... you can't even get to Concord from Charlotte right now ... if you can remember your route, you could probably sell it to a lot of commuters who are tired of the I-85 traffic .... :thud:

I'm betting on Spartanburg ... not a great sense of direction unless DodgerBlue comes to the rescue.

    East vs. North

East Meck vs. North Meck. East Meck is coming off a great conference tournament while North struggled. From what i've seen, East can be a very strong team when they play their game. From a prediction of 6th place to the playoffs with wins against top ranked teams, East could be a force in the playoffs. And i believe the East bullpen consisting of Jake Rayner who beat south and 2 hit providence and tate bryant isnt bad. Im just lookin at the facts. I could be wrong, but this is just my opinion as a fan of all teams around the charlotte area. I hope it is a great game. I also predict a South Caldwell win, Providence win, and a Central Cabarrus win. These four are the hottest teams in the west and i believe that is the X factor for playoff teams during this time of the year.

That's Concord, Maine -right Braves? I heard it wasn't the 14 hour drive but the toll booths that tipped you off that you were out of Mecklenberg County.

Hey fan29, I'm with you. I'm a big East fan. If you look back you'll see that I picked them as the SW4A sleeper, I picked McNichol as a conference MVP candidate and I've said that Davidson is the best defensive center fielder in the conference. I'll also say without fear of much contradiction that Brett Alter is the best pitcher in the state not planning to pitch in college. And I like Jake, Tate and Justin, all of whom could come out of the bullpen for the Eagles. But that bracket is just too tough IMHO, and I just don't see them getting by that pitching staff up there at the University of North Meck. If I'm wrong I'll cheer along with you!
