    Tuscola: Very Good!

Tuscola is a great hitting team! Cody Stubbs leads the state in home runs with 15! The team has 32 homers combined! They hit the ball well 1 thru 9! Jack Bishop, Stubbs, David Atwood, Walton Shepard, & Alex Ledford are all dangerous with the bat. The pitching staff gets the job done: Matt McClure (7-1), Billy Lively (6-1), Chris Constante (5-2), & Stubbs (7 saves) are very efficient. Their team ERA is not impressive, but they score alot of runs to make up for it. Stubbs (a Tennessee signee) is the straw that stirs the drink.
This is Tuscola's deepest playoff run in school history!:cheers2:

another point... This is also the furthest LKN has ever gone so neither team has the upperhand there. This will be a battle of The better pitching(LKN) vs A very good Tuscola hitting team. They as everyone has mentioned do have something like 32 homeruns.

Ive been told Scottie Williams LKN's junior left handed stud will be on the hill. people do not know much about him because he is overshadowed by the 2 senior studs(ross whitley and lomo) but this kid hasnt lost all season with a era under 2. Will be a great matchup i think. Cant wait to get it started.

Lake Norman's pitching vs. Tuscola's Hitting!

I think you're right about that! Lake Norman's pitching staff could be the difference in this series! Tuscola has really flew under the radar so far in the playoffs. I hear they are really scrappy & never out of a ballgame!

Lake Norman clearly has pitching depth, thats why theyre my favorites to advance; however, with Lomascola just pitching on Wednesday he may only have limited action in this series. Scottie Williams(2010) and Ross Whitley(Catawba) can do the job, but with the timing of this series, I think they'll have to do most of it without Lomo.

As far as Tuscola, theres no question about them being able to win the series, or they wouldn't have advanced this far, of course people respect them. I look for some runs to be scored in this series because both offenses are pretty good 1-9. In the end, it comes down to pitching, and we'll prob see Lomascola come in relief Saturday to nail down the clinching game.

Lake Norman has something that you rarely see in great teams. They have a team chemistry right now that refuses to lose. I expect them to win it. I've seen this type of chemistry a couple of times over the years and you can tell from the start of each game that LKN comes to play. Good Luck LKN!
