It is good to have you as a new poster but no kid or family bashing. It is their business. I one wishes to challenge it. As Coach 27 has said. Make the call. If they follow the rules or not so be it. The kid is a good kid and a great player. Wish him the best in whatever he does and moving on.

Thanks... BTW... pardon my french, but it ain't none of our business what decision a family makes... to speculate here is wrong. So if you cant say any other good things about this subject and this fine young man and his family, then you should shut up!!

I think the move is certainly the best move for the Hanover family, nobody is really questioning that. He has a chance to be on a state contender now. Any time a player of Tyler Hanover's quality is the 2nd best middle infielder on his own high school team, you know the team is going to be dynamite. I think what these people are questioning is the ethical perspective of it. Letting down old teammates at East Forsyth. People at East are already having to get over the loss of Area Player Of The Year Kenny Swab from last year, and now they lose their second best player in Hanover too. Also I feel for whoever the odd man out is at North that will not be a starter now. I like the point someone made earlier about how Tyler would not be making this move if he was not a baseball player. I'm just a believer in playing at your local school and making the best of it. This isnt AAU ball or showcase. I'm tired of everyone stacking teams these days. It's not a huge deal to me and I'm not bashing Hanover, he's a great guy and a super player. His example is just one of many thats starting to occur across the state where people are transferring schools strictly for sports purposes, which is not supposed to happen in high school sports. It's the family's decision and as I said of course it puts the Hanover family in a better situation, but its not fair for the teams who will be competing against North Davidson in both their own conference and in the playoffs. These teams will probably be made up of guys who grew up playing together, rather than having guys transfer in. It puts them at a huge disadvantage. Obivous respect for Hanover though, if he was not such a good player then it wouldnt make a difference. But adding a player of his calliber to an already strong team can really shake things up. Just my 2 cents worth
