Now I remember....

...this guy as do many others in our FPitch family, and I'm glad I don't know his name. The very idea that just describing such a mook like chesty and people saying to themselves "I know that ump. what a jerk", tells us the whole story. ...........Disclaimer/edit.....to you comet, if I'm out of line here feel free to kick this part to the curb, but, if the guy we're talking about is the D$%^& that tried to tell OUR DD KENDAYL!, and I mean our girl!, ....that she could not wear her handkerchief on the head because it "was not sanctioned" or some BS like that, then theres 2 PRI$^S umps out there!!!!! And to my hearts content I'll never forget how this scenario played out, and when the ump learned that KDub was battling cancer, this guy, half way went GRINCH on us and said,....well...ok,....and KDub threw the thing on the ground and never looked back!!!!! Wow! what a special kid! Fishman.

 

Harvey still going strong and seen (and heard) in Burlington at the qualifier this weekend. Which by the way had probably the best overall umping i've seen this year. Saw one of the East Cobb teams getting a little perterbed and i understand the guys we had while i was at graduation were bad but Harvey is a good one. Ash still has one of his coins on her mantle beside her HR balls.

We always called him the FLY cause that is what I thought of everytime I saw those mirrored sunglasses! I'll bet there is even a mirror on that man's bedroom ceiling! LOL I'll bet if someone says God, he turns and looks! LOL

Harvey was a GREAT ump! He was memorable for good reasons!
