Way to go Nate!!! He has not received nearly enough attention that he deserves. When people are talking about potential conference POY, Nate Cudney's name should be on that list.

    Rosters

Seems to me like the rosters can change for these teams when they play locally. What's the deal? How does it compare with PG?

If an organization has more than one team like the Dirtbags, Megastars, Heat, etc. They may move guys around during a Showcase tournament if they need more pitching for a particular weekend for a particular team, have some folks out, a scout wants to see a player in a specific game, etc. Usually rosters are only set for regional or national tournaments.

    Its about the players

Showcase tourneys are not bound by specific rules unless the person putting it on says "You must be an 08 or 09" etc to participate. There are no set rosters either. Players play on several different teams as well. An 09 might pitch for the 08 team etc etc. When you play PG events you have to be on the roster sent in and you have to be age specifice ie 17u 18u etc. Many times scouts request to see a kid and they can only make it at a certain time so the coach makes sure that the kid they want to see plays at that time. Also kids miss weekends for different reasons and you move kids around because of this as well. Your focus is to get the kids seen by the people that want to see them.
