    With his 16-7 win over Campbell's Kyle Higgins, sophomore Mikal McKee, A.C. Reynolds 2007, became only the third wrestler in UNCG history to record 30 wins in a single season. Included in that total are 11 major decisions. His 30 wins are 5th best in the nation in NCAA Division 1. He also holds the school record for most wins in the 184lb weight class and he has the most wins in any weight class in the Southern Conference this season. UNCG wrestles a brutal schedule including Big Ten and Big 12 opponents. His last loss was a 5-4 decision to Vince Jones of #4 Nebraska. He will be the #1 seed for the SoCon tournament in Charleston with the winner getting the automatic bid to the NCAA tournament in St. Louis. He is also on the Dean's List majoring in math and computer sciences.
