    What's up with that.......

.........And how will that effect the recruits coming in this fall? I know there are several from this area going down there.

    UNCW Change

If recruits actually signed a LOI they are required to attend UNCW to play for one year unless they obtain a release from the school.

Coach Jarrell is a good person but surrounded by lots of drama during her career at UNCW. There has been a lot of roster turnover. Most prominent loss was Ali Gardiner who transferred after her Fr year to U of Florida and was a first team All-American this year.

UNCW has good potential in softball. The beach location is attractive, the school has a good academic reputation and it is a 'warm weather' school in 'cold weather' conference (CAA).

    Agree

Very good assesment! I have had three girls go there, none of three still play. Coach Jarrell was always kind and professional, I wish her well.

I really liked coach Jarrell and her assistant.

I wish them all of the best and I hope UNCW can hire a good one. There are many girls in NC that deserve another Div 1 school to play at.
